The General Master's Degree Overseas Scholarship is a scholarship program intended for graduates of S1 Religious Higher Education/Islamic Religious Faculty at General Higher Education Institutions; Teachers, Educational Staff, and Supervisors under the Ministry of Religious Affairs; alumni of the Santri Berprestasi Scholarship Program; and Employees of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to continue their studies at the Master's level in overseas universities.

Higher Education: According to the Cambridge Dictionary, higher education refers to education at a college or university where subjects are studied at an advanced level. UNESCO defines higher education as a rich cultural and scientific asset that enables personal development and promotes economic, technological, and social change
