Scholarship Overview
Bulgarian doctoral students studying in the Republic of Bulgaria at places subsidized by the state receive monthly scholarships
Foreign doctoral students and postgraduate students receive a scholarship until the end of the month in which the doctoral / specialization term expires. They do not receive a scholarship when extending the term of doctoral studies and for the time when they are not in the Republic of Bulgaria, except for the cases provided in the curriculum or individual training plan.

Higher Education: According to the Cambridge Dictionary, higher education refers to education at a college or university where subjects are studied at an advanced level. UNESCO defines higher education as a rich cultural and scientific asset that enables personal development and promotes economic, technological, and social change

Bachelor’s: Based on international qualification frameworks, a Bachelor’s or equivalent level is for learners with intermediate academic or professional knowledge, skills, and competencies. Typically, programmemes are provided by universities and equivalent tertiary education institutions.
