Higher Education: According to the Cambridge Dictionary, higher education refers to education at a college or university where subjects are studied at an advanced level. UNESCO defines higher education as a rich cultural and scientific asset that enables personal development and promotes economic, technological, and social change

Bachelor’s: Based on international qualification frameworks, a Bachelor’s or equivalent level is for learners with intermediate academic or professional knowledge, skills, and competencies. Commonly, programmemes from this level include theory-based, practical components and are informed by state-of-the-art research and/or best professional practice. Typically, programmemes are provided by universities and equivalent tertiary education institutions.
Master’s or equivalent level: According to international higher education standards, Master’s or equivalent level programmemes are designed for learners with in-depth academic and/or professional knowledge, skills, and competencies. These programmemes may include a significant research component but do not yet reach the doctoral level.
