Job Description
A technician who assists foresters and scientists in protecting the animal and plant in the forest. He or she may also participate in forest nurseries or logging operations. He or she helps collect data, such as the content and condition of the forest, to help monitor management and conservation efforts. Forest conservation technicians may help control fires, plant seedlings or train other forest workers to do so as well. These professionals may work for a variety of government or private organizations.
