Job Description
A position responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of existing policies and laying the groundwork for new programs and laws to achieve goals and objectives. Duties include reviewing and amending draft policies, as well as proposing improvements to the impact of existing policies. Policy analysts also collaborate with stakeholders to define policy goals and objectives. Depending on the industry, a policy analyst may advance to a director or executive role.
