Job Description
A position that assists foresters and scientists in protecting the animal and plant in the forest. He or she may also participate in forest seeding or logging operations. He or she often helps collect data, such as forest content and condition, to help monitor management and conservation efforts. Forest conservation technicians may help control burns, plant seedlings or train other forest workers to do so as well. These professionals may work for a variety of government or private organizations.
