Job Description
This position is a skilled engineer responsible for the development, site-specific engineering analysis, or evaluation of energy efficiency and solar projects involving residential, commercial, or industrial clients. This position designs solar domestic hot water and space heating systems for both new and existing structures, applying knowledge of structural energy needs, local climate, solar technology, and thermodynamics.
Qualifications & Requirements
Has a minimum qualification of level VI or an equivalent in the field of solar energy, environment, chemistry, electrical engineering, or related areas.
Has experience equivalent to level VI qualifications in solar energy, supported by quality evidence or results from Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competency (RCC).
Trained in the application of electrical occupational safety and health (OSH) in power plant environments.
